Auckland’s Newest Radio Station 106.2 to launch in March 2011

5Tunz Communications Limited announced today that its new radio station “Humm FM 106.2” will go live in March with around the clock programming.

Humm FM ‘s owners Satyan Prasad, General Manager of Enterprise Motor Group Limited and Roshila Prasad are confident the new radio station and its programming format will bring a unique and refreshing listening experience. ‘’We are very proud of Humm FM 106.2 and the important contributions it will make to the Hindi music scene in the Super City Auckland and the online presence of Hindi radios worldwide.” said Mr Prasad. “Large sections of the Auckland Communities haven’t had a FM broadcast stage like this before. Also, the station will bring a real alternative to the mainstream stations that line-up the FM dials in Auckland.’’

Humm FM will launch principally as a music station with a limited number of newsbreaks, interviews and special features which will change over a period of time, based on listener feedback, to provide the best radio experience to its targeted audience. It will entertain and inform audiences with the best of today’s music, drawn from a wide variety of genres and diverse forms of musical expressions. Humm FM is also committed to promoting and facilitating events that feature both local and international artists.
