Warriors’ Friday night training session open to fans

ROTORUA 07.02.11: The Vodaphone Warriors are opening their Rotorua training session up to local fans on Friday evening (11 February) ahead of Saturday’s pre-season clash against the Parramatta Eels.

Events & Venues Rotorua operations manager Crispian Stewart said the Warriors’ training session is set down for the International Stadium’s No. 2 ground and would kick off around 5pm. He said fans would be able to watch the team’s final workout for free.

“We expect there to be a lot of interest in being able to catch the Warriors as they prepare for their 2011 NRL season and especially in the team's many stars from the Kiwis' Four Nations Championship winning team last year.

Tickets for Saturday's Warriors v Eels pre-season clash will be on sale at the stadium during the training match on Friday night and are also available from Ticketmaster outlets and Mad Butcher stores in Rotorua.

Tickets bought in advance are $15 for adults and $5 for children general admission, or in the grandstand $20 for adults and $10 for children. Family concession tickets (two adults and two children) are $35 general admission and $50 in the grandstand if purchased ahead of match day.
