Holiday Offers Pour in for Canterbury from Northland

Holiday Offers Pour in for Canterbury from Northland

24 February 2011

Northland R & R (Rest & Revitalise) Offers

Northland tourism operators are offering some great deals for the people in Christchurch. Following Air New Zealand’s $50 airfares from Christchurch to all domestic airports in New Zealand, the regional tourism organisation Destination Northland has asked Northland tourism operators to come up with deals to offer to the people in Canterbury, and give them a chance to rest and recover in Northland. All R & R offers are being directed through the he Whangarei and Bay of Island i-Site Visitor Information Centres. Both i-Site Visitor Information Centres have offered their services without charging their normal commission.

Julia Crane, the manager of the Bay of Islands i-Site Visitor Information Centre says “As soon as the Destination Northland request went out, offers of all kinds started flooding in. Offers like four night’s free accommodation at 5 star Qualmarked apartments, half price accommodation from many different providers and free restaurant vouchers”.

Cantabrians who want to book any of the Northland R&R offers can email the Bay of Islands i-site paihia@visitnorthland.co.nz free phone 0800 363 463. Or email the Whangarei i-site info@whangareinz.com free phone 0508 942 642
