Rangiora Volunteers are currently providing heli- meals (hot meals delivered by helicopters) to the residents of the Eastern areas. Rangioara community volunteers are cooking the food and local helicopter services plus two army Iroquois are delivering hot food and non perishables to the Eastern Suburbs.
The community volunteers are calling for food parcels, disposable nappies and other essential non perishable to be delivered to the Rangiora Racecourse off Oxford Road. They will get the supplies delivered to residents.
