Brian Childs of the Gillies and Mark Realty Group, the Wellington Racing Club and BJC Elements are delighted to announce their upcoming 'CARNIVAL FOR CHRISTCHURCH', scheduled for Saturday 30 April 2011 at Trentham Racecourse.
The event is also being very generously supported by DASH Ticketing, the Upper Hutt Rotary Club and many other local businesses.
"Christchurch has a long road ahead and we want to do our bit to support our mates and families. We plan to create an affordable and fun day of live music and other activities that can be enjoyed by everyone and ultimately raise plenty of money for our mates in need. Christchurch is going to need a helping hand for some time to come so there can never be enough fundraisers for them" said Brian Childs.
The Carnival will be a full afternoons entertainment for everyone, featuring over 10 fantastic Wellington bands, great food and beverage options and lots other fun activities for kids and adults.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
