Quartz Reef Sparkles At iD Dunedin Fashion Week
Raising a toast to the success

Acclaimed Central Otago wine, Quartz Reef, will add a sparkle to iD Dunedin Fashion Week as the iconic event gets underway this evening. Consistent with the showcase of distinct style and leading edge craftsmanship that is synonymous with iD Dunedin Fashion Week, Rudi Bauer’s award winning Quartz Reef Methode Traditionnelle Non Vintage wine is the ‘bubbles of choice’ throughout the event.
“This is our third year sponsoring iD Dunedin Fashion Week and we love being a part of the magic that surrounds the celebration of talent, creativity, and inspired style”, says Mr Bauer, Quartz Reef wine maker and winner of the 2010 Wine Maker of the Year at the Royal Easter Show.
The iD Dunedin Fashion Week, now in its 12th year, takes place from 5 – 10th April with a week-long schedule of both ticketed and public events. The two major events during the week are the iD Dunedin Emerging Designer Awards, an international emerging fashion design competition, and the iD Dunedin Fashion Show which is held over two consecutive nights on the platform of the city’s captivating Railway Station.
In keeping with the glamour of the occassion, guests at the Fashion Show will each receive a complimentary glass of Quartz Reef Methode Traditionnelle.
Quartz Reef Vineyard, located in Bendigo, Central Otago, produces an award winning range of Methode Traditionnelle Non-Vintage and Vintage, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. The winery’s range of Methode Traditionnelle Vintage and Non Vintage sparkling wine has received high praise in New Zealand and overseas - internationally respected wine reviewer Lisa Perotti-Brown, of www.erobertparker.com, doubted finding a better non-vintage sparkling wine than the Quartz Reef Methode Traditionnelle Non Vintage, describing it as “liquid gold”.
