Youthtown, in conjunction with the Auckland
Council, is kicking off Youth Week this Saturday with
Youth in the Park - a free community event for youth
and families at Talbot Park in Glen Innes.
A range of exciting youth-oriented activities will be on offer including a TAG competition, volleyball, rock climbing wall, 3on3 basketball, face painting, air brush tattooing and a sausage sizzle. There will be loads of great prizes to be won on the day.
Youthtown CEO, Keith Thorpe, says: “We are delighted to be putting on this free event which provides the ideal opportunity for families and youth to get together and take part in a range of interactive activities to celebrate the start of Youth Week.”
Youthtown will hold another Youth in the Park event at Glenavon School in Blockhouse Bay on Saturday 18 June.
