Bad Weather Clears For Lotto Winners

Bad Weather Clears For Lotto Winners

The sun will be shining no matter what for four players around the country once they discover they’ve won a $250,000 share of Lotto’s First Division, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The winning tickets were sold at Countdown Mt Eden in Auckland, Melody's New World in Palmerston North, Countdown Lower Hutt, and Northlands Pak N Save in Christchurch.

A week after a Rotorua family syndicate won a massive $10.6 million, Powerball First Division has jackpotted this week and will be worth an estimated $5 million next week.

Strike Four was struck giving a player from North Shore City a massive $915,683. The ticket was sold at New World Albany.

Meanwhile, at Avalon Studios in Wellington, Steph from Hamilton spun and won a $100,000 round the world travel package on the Winning Wheel at the live draw.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.

Saturday’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at QEII Foodmarket, New Brighton, Christchurch. The serial number is 097-55725319-20xx.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
