New Website for the Oriental Bay Residents’ Association

(Wellington: 8 June 2011) The Oriental Bay Residents’ Association has launched a website: www.orientalbay.org.nz. Please link to the site and help us publicise it. The site includes the following features:

• Information on the Oriental Bay Residents’ Association, including meetings, activities, Executive Committee, and contact information;

• Chronology of major developments and activities relevant to Oriental Bay;

• Archive of every Bay View newsletter since inception in 1983;

• Links to businesses located in Oriental Bay, as well as local authorities and other residents’ associations;

• Calendar listing major events in Oriental Bay as well as meetings of the Oriental Bay Residents’ Association;

• Subscription option to receive notifications by email when the site is updated with news and notices;

• A link to the Oriental Bay Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Oriental-Bay/132959181003.

Both the website and Facebook page are administered by the Secretary of the Oriental Bay Residents’ Association, Mary Wareham. The Association is grateful to Wellington Community Net for provided free hosting and technical support, as well as Wellington photographer Peti Morgan for the image used in the website banner.
