Renew your Hutt City dog registration now online
Hutt City Council is the first in the greater Wellington region to offer online renewal of dog registrations.
Dog owners can now renew their Hutt City dog registration at www.huttcity.govt.nz.
More than 200 dogs have been re-registered online since the service went live last week.
Development Services General Manager Kim Kelly says the online initiative is about meeting the needs of residents.
“As a Council we recognise more and more people are looking to do business online and we’re responding to this with new options such as dog registration renewals via our website.
“Hutt City Council is proud to be leading the way with this new service and we’ve worked hard to make it easy to use, quick and secure."
The new online service also allows owners to update their details and those with more than one dog to renew multiple dogs in one transaction.
Council is committed to providing more online services and next month will roll out online health licence and trade waste consent renewals.
