SBS Star Win Timely for Otumoetai Tennis Club

The win couldn’t have come at a better time for the Otumoetai Tennis Club after they picked up a bonus $1000 through SBS Bank’s Star prize draw this month.

The SBS Star banking package was created by SBS Bank specifically for non-profit clubs and societies and offers the chance to win one of 10 prize draws of $1000 every month.

Otumoetai Tennis Club president Warwick Brew said having won the monthly prize draw twice before, more than two years ago, their club was extremely grateful for the continued support from the team at SBS Bank.

“Our success in winning the prize draw couldn’t have come at a better time as we are just in the process of resurfacing four of our courts. For us, it’s great to know that SBS Bank doesn’t just talk about helping – they actually do.

“The support we get from SBS Bank is invaluable to our club and we appreciate all that they do. As a club, and in these current times, it’s always a challenge to secure sponsorship and funding to assist with the running of the club and obviously the $1000 is a most welcome bonus.

“SBS Bank’s ongoing support with our banking and their sponsorship of many of our club events means that they are very much a part of our Otumoetai Tennis Club.”

SBS Star was introduced three and a half years ago and, among the many benefits, the package offers a fee-free transactional account. This month SBS Bank celebrated giving back a total of $400,000 to worthy non-profit groups throughout the country.
