Online registrations for the Hutt City Triathlon on Sunday 6 November are now open at www.huttcitytri.co.nz.

The annual family friendly event is open to ages 12 plus and features a 4km run/walk, 18km cycle and 300m swim, starting from Naenae Pool.

Event coordinator Zoe Firth says the event is always popular as it is an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to compete.

"There are individual and team options and a category for wheelchair competitors. We want as many different people as possible to give it a go and it can be as competitive or relaxed as competitors want it to be," she says.

A limited number of places are available so register online now to avoid missing out.

Individual entry for adults is $35 and $20 for school students. Entry for a team of adults is $45 and $30 for a school team.
