Severe Weather Update In Selwyn

People are advised to take care on district roads (all open) and only go out if necessary.

Libraries have reopened at Darfield, Rolleston and Lincoln. We are hoping to have Leeston Library open this afternoon (Tues 26th). The Lincoln Event Centre and Rolleston Community Centre are open.

Kerbside waste collections continue as normal on Tuesday 26th, although in rural areas the collection may be delayed and occur later in the day as the snow melts.

Metro Bus services will be reviewed at 10.30am Tuesday 26th, aiming to restore services by 11.00am. Some services may not resume. All buses will be off roads by 8.00pm. Check out Metrobus on Facebook for regular updates.
