Auckland Airport offers gold to sporting
teams
Auckland Airport Gold Medal Awards
offer a total sponsorship fund of up to $25,000 for sports
clubs, schools and Marae within the greater Auckland
region.
The Gold Medal Awards, which open for
applications on Wednesday the 3rd of August 2011, are
available to sports groups, schools and Marae who wish to
apply for assistance to support their sport or club
goals.
The awards, which are in their second year running,
aim to develop healthy young people in the Auckland region
through sport and fitness.
Teams and groups can apply for
funding which can be used for purchasing sports equipment,
for coaching or training purposes or for helping with travel
and accommodation costs for sporting events.
APPLICATIONS OPEN ON WEDNESDAY 3RD AUGUST AND
CLOSE ON FRIDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2011.
