“Samoan Heroes of 1991 Rugby World Cup Reunite”
The Samoan Heroes of the 1991 Rugby World Cup Tournament, will reunite to recognize and celebrate the 20th anniversary of this small island nations historic achievement including the famous 16-13 victory over Wales in Cardiff and securing a quarter-final place.
Legendary Samoan Captain Peter Fatialofa, who is heading the event organization says it’s great timing “With the Rugby World Cup at our doorstep, it was a great opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of our achievements of 1991 with the players and community”.
The reunion celebrations will be held from Monday 19th Sept to Sunday 25th Sept. Former players including Pat Lam, Stephen Bachop, Brian Lima and Coaches Bryan Willams and Peter Schuster are some who have confirmed their attendance.
