Cutting-edge new booking website ‘Traveldrift’ to be launched
Traveldrift is a New Zealand Travel and Tourism website specialising in providing information, itineraries and bookings to consumers for activities, attractions and tours New Zealand wide.
Traveldrift is owned and operated by Danica Tauri. Danica has worked in the Tourism Industry for over 10 years. In 2002 she graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Tourism min. Marketing Management, and has been involved in a range of successful family owner operated tourism businesses based in Fiordland since 1995.
The Traveldrift website is currently sending out the call to activities, attractions and tour operators to list their business on the website with operators able to access the Traveldrift website from the 19th of September and the consumer launch on the 26th of September 2011.
“The response so far to the call to action from operators has just been fantastic, I don’t think I could have hoped for it to be any better, Traveldrift already has a wide range of businesses on board from wine tours to overnight cruises” said Danica.
“Traveldrift has received really positive feedback around the functionality and simplicity of the site in particular the itinerary building tool and the intuitive mobile web platform which will customise to a consumer’s current location and allow tourism operators to adjust their availability on the go”.
“Traveldrift is also different in that tourism operators are dealing with a real person from the tourism industry who is able to customise Traveldrift to meet their needs and requirements; examples which are currently in process include developing extra functionality to enable the management of more than one business’ products at a time, and the development of a whole new booking process catering to weather dependant operators”.
For tourism operators who are interested in listing their activity, attraction or tour with Traveldrift, it is not too late. Traveldrift invites operators to visit their website at www.traveldrift.co.nz now to register.
