Morrinsville Holds Doggy Walk Fun Day
On Sunday 13th November Morrinsville vets,
the Animal Health Centre is hosting a unique event for
Morrinsville – a family fun day and dog walk.
All dog owners are invited to join us for a dog walk and with the activities, meeting at the Morrinsville Polo Grounds on Avenue Road between 10am and 1:30pm.
The Dog Walk will be a short riverside walk, with onleash dogs, starting at 10:15am and then there will be a farm working dog display from the Morrinsville Working Dog Club and dog obedience demonstration from Te Aroha Dog Obedience. We will also have a best dressed pet / best trick parade with spot prizes and you can try your dog on an agility course.
Learn tips about managing your dog’s behaviour, have you dog’s body condition assessed by our vet nurses and learn about the benefits of quality petfood. There will be food and coffee for sale, with the profit proceeds going towards a charity.
“We are really looking forward to this event, it will be great to provide the opportunity for families to bring their dogs to a fun morning out” says vet Jude Tisdall. “We will also be celebrating the change in name of the practice from the Animal Health Centre to Anexa Animal Health.”
