Clark beats Barry

Labour Candidate Ben Clark finishes ahead of National's Maggie Barry in North ShoreRace.
In today's Devonport Classic Ben was first candidate home over 5km, despite Maggie Barry setting off 15 minutes earlier and Ben pushing a buggy with 2 children in it.
Ben said, "It was good to get involved in a great community event and support Stanley Bay Primary as well."
"The run with my family went well despite our lack of training, and running to and from the event as well.It was good to give the lungs a workout that wasn't a speech!"
The event was attended by around 1000 runners and walkers
(Note: National candidate Maggie Barry may not have realised it was a race as the event she was in was the 5km walk.)
