Mulletman to Entertain at Taupō’s Final Fanzone

A huge array of entertainment and activity is planned for the finals Fanzone on Tuwharetoa St on Sunday 23 October and ‘Mulletman’ aka Nathan Bonner is coming back to Taupō to add fabulous vibrancy during the festivities.

Organisers of the finals fanzone have made sure that families and children are well catered for at this event, with facepainting, a bouncy castle and The Mulletman’s family friendly show. Activities begin from 2pm. “We want families to come down, join in the fun and enjoy the lead up to the final of the Rugby World Cup.” said Nick Reader from Events Capital.

The Mulletman came to Taupō last Christmas, performing on Towncentre Taupō’s last minute shopping day and was such a hit. “We just had to have him back again to celebrate the final of the rugby festival,” said Traceylee Hooton, Towncentre Taupō General Manager. The Mulletman is a great entertainer, just arriving back into New Zealand after successful shows and entertaining thousands of people at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.

“We’re thrilled to have a professional street performer in Taupo as part of the celebrations on Tuwharetoa St,” said Ms Hooton. He will perform throughout the afternoon on Sunday and then again in front of diners having brunch on Roberts St on Monday morning, finishing with his last show outside Whitcoulls on Horomatangi St at noon.
