Emerald Beauty Spa to be East Coast’s first internationally accredited skincare clinic

Gisborne is set to be introduced to a new form of corrective skin treatments and products utilising the power of Enzyme Therapy - the brain child of internationally acclaimed skin revision brand, DMK.

The skincare range, named after it’s founder, Dr Danné Montague-King recognises nature as the body’s best healer and utilises a signature Enzyme which mimic’s the skins natural chemistry to recreate the ideal environment for healthy, youthful skin to thrive.

Dr King discovered the power of Enzyme Therapy after he struggled to find an effective solution for his severe teenage acne.

“It has been my lifelong quest to create techniques and products that help maintain a youthful appearance” says Dr King.

“At the time I had very little idea that it would result in a global skincare empire across thirty countries, rebuilding skin and changing lives all over the world!”.

Dr King’s unique philosophy caught the attention of local salon director, Louise Britz of Emerald Beauty Spa who specifically sought after the brand and fought for the rights to be East Coast’s exclusive DMK accredited skincare clinic.

“Before a clinic is allowed to prescribe DMK they must undergo an intense selection, certification and training program.” states Louise.

“In addition to the clinic being certified, each of our therapists were required to attend an extensive training clinic in Auckland before they were even allowed to touch the product.”

It’s reassuring to know of the intense selection and certification as the products and treatments are so powerful that each client must be diagnosed and prescribed with the correct solution to prevent adverse results.

The range not only includes your essential everyday skincare products but also powerful specialties and unique skin and body treatments. Louise explains:

“While the product range includes cleansers, serums, cremes, masques and exfoliating solutions there are also specialty fine line correctors, vitamin solutions, eye lotions, detoxing solutions and oil absorbents.”

“We are also certified to treat our clients to fabulous enzyme facials, anti-aging skin programs, peels and skin tone treatments. DMK can also assist with body conditions such as cellulite, callouses and cracked heels and ingrown hairs.”

DMK is to be launched at Emerald Beauty Spa at 11am on Saturday 3rd of December with plenty of prizes, discounts, drinks, nibbles and skin experts on hand to demonstrate these new treatments and products.
