A 36-year-old Tokoroa woman is in a critical condition at Waikato Hospital following a shooting outside Tokoroa Police Station today.
The woman was first taken to Tokoroa Hospital and then airlifted at 1.30pm by the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance to Waikato Hospital where she underwent surgery.
A 20-year-old (tick - not 23) Tokoroa woman, the victim of an assault in the town on Friday, has been discharged today from Tokoroa Hospital.
Meanwhile an 18-year-old man was discharged from Waikato Hospital's emergency department today after two trucks collided in Morrinsville, Waikato, this morning. Police were called to the crash on State Highway 26 at 7.26am. Two people died at the scene.
