Auckland Lotto Player Celebrates Summer with Million Win
One lucky Lotto player from Manukau will have a massive cash injection to make their summer last longer, after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division, says NZ Lotteries’ Acting Chief Executive, Warren Salisbury.
“This windfall will enable our winner to have more fun in the sun, or to now extend their holidays,” says Mr Salisbury.
Their winning ticket was sold at Dawson Superette in Auckland.
Lotto Powerball jackpotted tonight and will be an estimated $5 million next week.
Strike Four has also jackpotted and will be worth an estimated $300,000 next week.
Meanwhile, Maria from Kaitaia spun and won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington this evening.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was purchased at Countdown Northlands, Papanui in Christchurch. The serial number is 319-25230860-20XX.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet."
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
