All the fun of a country fair
-right on Aucklands doorstep-This weekend 10th and 11th
March.
The 90th Royal Kumeu Show is being held again this weekend. 88 acres dedicated to country pursuits and good old fashioned fun.The show attracts exhibitors from all over New Zealand, as well as International Judges. Over the weekend the show offers competitions for Alpacas, Cattle, Dairy Goats, Agility Dogs, Equestrian, Highland Dancing, Indoor Exhibits, Pigs, Poultry, Sheep, Shearing & Wood Chopping to name just a few.
This year entertainment is provided by NZ icons the Topp Twins, but we have something for everyone with everything from sheep racing to our "who wants to be a farmer" competition where anyone can have a go at farming pursuits.
There's plenty of non-farming fun with hundreds of trade stands and an amazing fun fair. There are pony rides, vintage tractors and a horse and cart rides too. Bring a picnic or choose from some of the excellent ethnic food stands.
With free parking for everyone, bring your family to the Kumeu Show this weekend. Just 20 minutes from the CBD state Highway 16 Auckland.
