Two Lotto Winners but Powerball Jackpots to $25 Million

Two Lotto Winners for Ashburton and New Plymouth but Powerball Jackpots to $25 Million

Two Lotto winners from Ashburton and New Plymouth will have a major boost to their bank account after claiming their fantastic $500,000 First Division prize with Lotto, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Wayne Pickup.

The winning Lotto First Division tickets were sold at Lotto at Countdown in Ashburton and Pak N Save New Plymouth.

Lotto Powerball has jackpotted again tonight, meaning it will be worth an estimated massive $25 million next week.

“With Powerball jackpotting again, next week’s prize will be sure to get everyone talking – and if it’s won by a single ticket, it’ll be the third-biggest prize ever won in New Zealand,” adds Mr Pickup.

Strike Four was also not struck and jackpots to an estimated $800,000 next week.

Meanwhile, Auckland mother Rose-Marie Nathan spun Lotto’s Winning Wheel and won the top prize of $1 million at the live draw in the capital this evening.

Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought Minimart & Lotto Shop in Pakuranga, Auckland.  The serial number is 399-56732432-20XX.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
