Life Flight Trust transports injured Cyclist from Waikanae
The Life Flight Trust transports an injured Cyclist from Waikanae
At 4:30pm this afternoon the Life Flight
Trust responded to Waikanae to a 56yr old female from
Raumati Beach. The Patient had been cycling when she was hit
by a car in Waikanae.
Life Flight responded with a Wellington Free Ambulance Paramedic on board the Westpac Rescue Helicopter
The Helicopter landed at Waikanae Park and awaited the arrival of the Ambulance with the patient.
A Wellington Free Ambulance crew had treated the patient at the scene of the accident before driving her the the waiting helicopter at the park.
The patient was flown to the Wellington Hospital
Emergency Department where she is being treated for her
injuries.
