Bakers Delight Uses Their Loaf For Cancer Charity
 
Bakers Delight is putting one of their delicious loaves to a good cause by helping Kiwi women with cancer look good and feel better. 
 
During a special three week long fundraising campaign (3 – 23 May), all 32 Bakers Delight bakeries throughout New Zealand will donate $1 from every nutritious Cape Seed Loaf sold to Look Good Feel Better to fundraise for the women’s cancer charity.
 
Each year over 10,000 New Zealand women are diagnosed with cancer.  Look Good Feel Better is a free service that runs workshops to enhance the appearance of women undergoing cancer treatment.
 
The workshops provide guidance, information, support and makeover expertise to over 3,000 women each year with the aid of wigs, skin care and makeup.   All proceeds from the Bakers Delight Cape Seed Loaf campaign will go towards funding these workshops throughout New Zealand.
 
Yvonne Brownlie, General Manager of Look Good Feel Better, is grateful to have the support of Bakers Delight again this year.
 
“New Zealand women with cancer not only have to battle through treatment, but also face more personal challenges affecting the way they look which consequently impacts their self-esteem.
 
“We rely on the support of organisations like Bakers Delight to help us raise the necessary funds to continue running and extending these workshops to reach more women around the country,” she adds.

Bakers Delight Cape Seed Loaves are made with 100% wholegrain flour, the goodness of nine grains and seeds, preservative free, high in dietary fibre and have a low GI.
