On the eve of Mother’s Day, two Lotto First Division players who bought tickets in Hamilton and Mosgiel have won $1 million each, while 100 extra Mother’s Day promotional prizes were also won around the country, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.
 
The winning Lotto First Division tickets were sold at Bryant Park Mini Supermarket in Hamilton and at Mosgiel New World.  Thanks to a rare Lotto jackpot last week, there was $2 million in First Division for the two winners to share tonight.
 
Meanwhile, in Lotto’s popular Mother’s Day promotion, up for grabs were 10 X Audi A1’s, 20 X $20,000 travel prizes, 30 X $10,000 shopping sprees, and 40 X $10,000 cash prizes.

Powerball First Division has jackpotted this week and will be worth an estimated $6 million next week.
 
Strike Four was also struck tonight with one player winning $439,664. The winning ticket was bought online by a MyLotto player from Auckland.
 
Meanwhile, Russell, an accountant from Wellington, spun the Winning Wheel and won a huge $500,000, which will make his dream of owning his own home a reality.  Russell also bought his winning ticket online at MyLotto.
 
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
 
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Fresh Choice Barrington in Christchurch. The winning serial number is 444-54644228-20XX.
 
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
