Victoria Park Playground Development
As part of this year’s planned playground development a section of the play area at Victoria Park has been redeveloped and now includes a new piece of equipment.
A 5.3 metre high structure known as the Hourglass has been erected and towers over the existing playground. Council’s Property Asset Manager, Vicki Jagersma, says “The new Hourglass structure is now the highest piece of playground equipment we have and brings with it a unique shape and new challenges.”
The new structure features climbing ropes, funnel climbing and horizontal nets and is designed to cater for all ages.
