New Look goBay Express
service on the road soon

The goBay express service
between Napier and Hastings/Havelock North is undergoing a
facelift…
The graphics for the five buses have been designed to represent and showcase the much loved icons of both cities, Napier on one side and Hastings on the other. The new look buses will be on the road over the next couple of weeks.
The express service operates Monday to Friday, early mornings and early evenings, to get people between Hastings/Havelock North and Napier in 35 minutes or less. The express buses stop at key bus stops, enabling a fast trip for people needing to get to work or school on time.
A one-way cash fare on the express is $3.50, or $3.00 with a goBay smartcard.
Regular passengers who use the express service twice daily, Monday to Friday say that $30 a week is less than it would cost them in petrol/parking and the bus ride is a relaxing start and end to a busy day at work.
There are two routes to choose from – Route 10, which travels between Napier and Hastings via Hawke’s Bay Hospital, the expressway and Onekawa, and Route 11 which travels between Havelock North/Hastings and Napier via Clive.
