Auckland motorway reopens but delays continue
advises NZTA
The NZ
Transport Agency says both northbound lanes of Auckland’s
Southern Motorway (State Highway 1) near the Takanini
interchange have re-opened after a crash late this morning.
The NZTA says northbound drivers can expect delays until traffic queues have cleared, and people should drive with care and patience.
The crash, north of the interchange, involved a car and motor-cycle.
Southbound lanes on the motorway are operating normally.
