Statement from Chilean accident victim's father
Benjamin Blake, 25, from Chile is in a stable
condition in a ward at Waikato Hospital following a motor
vehicle accident at National Park on Wednesday 11 July.
His father Dr Eric Blake arrived yesterday (Saturday 14 July). The rest of the family stayed behind in Chile to attend a mass at a Santiago church.
Dr Blake said he, his wife, and their four sons offered their prayers and condolences to the families of Agustin Donofrio, German Caceres, Nicolas Ursic, and Luciano Pucheta who died in the accident. Read more.
