Onerahi Roundabout - hot mix surfacing tomorrow - possible traffic delays
Contractors are planning to seal the new roundabout at the intersection of Whangarei Heads Road and Church Road Onerahi tomorrow and drivers are advised that the work may caused traffic queues.
Wet weather had delayed the final stages of the project but conditions are now good, the surface is sufficiently dry and the weather forecast is stable for the next few days.
United Civil plan to lay the hot mix tomorrow, and work may continue on Friday.
There will be traffic management at the intersections to limit delays and congestion as much as possible during the peak travel times.
