Ashburton District Schools Exhibition

Ashburton District Schools Exhibition

An annual favourite in the Gallery’s programme, this exhibition displays the creative work of the District’s children. Come and view the colourful and innovative work that is being created in schools around your community. The exhibition includes painting, drawing, photography, pottery, sculpture and an array of mixed media.
This year the artwork will be displayed in an exciting new format. Instead of being pinned and glued onto large pieces of canvas we have ventured out and ordered thick cardboard for the schools to utilise in a collaborative and creative way. This we hope will be easier for both the teachers and Gallery staff to work with, and will result in a clean colourful presentation of our children’s imagination.
