Raetihi Lodge
welcomes the new summer season
The idyllic Raetihi Lodge re-opens on 5th October, welcoming the summer season through to 1 May 2013. Raetihi Lodge gained accreditation as a Qualmark 4 star plus host in 2010, and the retreat offers something for everyone. Guests can unwind while indulging in a nature walk, spa, or massage by renowned therapist Julie Stevens. There is also plenty of adventure on offer with guests free to use of the Lodge’s kayaks, fishing rods, and mountain bikes. Chef Rodrigo Da Silvo promises to delight with a menu that will showcase the freshest and best of local ingredients. James Whelan returns to squire Raetihi for another season as lodge manager.
James says he is proud to lead a great team, “Raetihi is simply a very special place. It’s one of Marlborough Sounds' iconic destinations and has an incredible history, having charmed visitors since the 1930s. Our mission this summer will be the same as always - to serve up a generous portion of Marlborough Sounds’ magic with the perfect blend of elegance, hospitality and creativity.”
Raetihi Lodge is located in Double Bay, on
the north-west shore of the beautiful Kenepuru Sound in
Marlborough. The Lodge is accessible by plane, boat or car
from Picton.
