SBS Bank naming sponsor of 2013 Southland A&P Show.

29 October 2012

MEDIA RELEASE

SBS Bank naming sponsor of 2013 Southland A&P Show.

SBS Bank is pleased to announce it will be the major naming sponsor of the Southland A&P Show being held at Donovan Park on Saturday, March 2, 2013.

SBS Bank General Manager Agribusiness Malcolm Little said sponsorship of the event further cemented SBS Bank’s commitment to local communities.

“We’ve been sponsors of the Southland A&P Show for a number of years and have a great relationship with the show’s committee. There’s a great synergy between our two organisations as we’re both proud, long standing Southland businesses.

“The Southland A&P Show really is a special occasion that allows our farming community to show off the best of their stock and gain recognition for all the hard work they’ve put in over the year.”

The show will again be held at Donovan Park and the opening evening, held on the Friday night, would also coincide with the start of Southland Heritage Month.

Southland A&P Association President Barry Macdonald said the show would build on the success of 2012.

“This year was the first year it was held at Donovan Park and like anything we’ve got a few minor tweaks and adjustments to make. Once these have been done, we’re confident the 2013 show will be bigger and better than ever.”
