Transpower and Unison Working to Restore Supply to Hawke’s Bay Customers
Tuesday 18 December 2012 12pm - Local electricity distribution company, Unison Networks’ Ltd is continuing to work alongside Transpower to restore power to customers in Hawke’s Bay following a transmission outage that caused widespread power cuts.
At 9:55am Transpower, the National Grid operator, experienced a transmission outage at Redclyffe grid exit point.
Transpower are still working to repair the fault. Unison will begin progressive restoration of power once repairs are completed.
