Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand 5 February 2013 - Boutique Nail Salon Verdo Nails of Parnell is offering a premium manicure service using 24 carat gold, and despite talk of a tough economy, demand has been high for the $1200 nail service.

Amber McIver Owner of Verdo Nails says “We have offered the treatment to our existing clients and have already done three treatments, with another three booked in the coming weeks, I was shocked by the demand”

Gold used for the manicures is sourced directly from a jeweler to ensure quality and purity. “Our clients deserve the best products and services and this has certainly taken it to a new level” Says McIver.
