The Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance has just retrieved a 16yr old Te Awamutu teen from a single vehicle accident, a van roll-over on SH23 just north of Otorohanga. The vehicle was believed to have contained four teenagers, a male driver and three girls. The teens were treated at the scene by St John Paramedics. Other injuries were not clear at the time. The driver appeared uninjured. The girl we flew was an unrestrained passenger in the van and was treated for suspected leg fractures.
