Coming up roses with Xanthe White

Coming up roses with Xanthe White

Xanthe White hosting the free Daltons School of Gardening Workshop in Auckland.

Award winning landscape designer Xanthe White is coming to the North Shore to host one of her ever-popular, free Daltons School of Gardening workshops. Xanthe, a regular winner and exhibitor at the Chelsea and Ellerslie flower shows, will host a practical class on year-round care for your roses designed to benefit rose enthusiasts of all levels. The class will run from 2pm until 4pm on Saturday the 16th of March 2013 and is open for anyone to join – all you need to bring is yourself!

Xanthe and the Daltons team will host the workshop outside Bunnings Warehouse in Glenfield – look out for the big Daltons truck. During the class they will cover a number of topics including timing and technique when it comes to pruning, how to choose the right roses for your area, when to feed them and also how to protect your roses. There will be time for a Q & A session as well so that everyone walks away with the advice they came for.

The free Daltons School of Gardening Workshops are a wonderful opportunity for gardeners of all levels to come together to learn the art of gardening, and share experiences with other budding gardeners. This is the first time Xanthe and the Daltons team has held the workshop on the North Shore.
