Chef to the Stars to create Pop Up Café & Bar at Waikato HomeXPO

The new HomeXPO pavilion at this year’s Waikato Show is bulging with exciting new ideas for renovating, building and the latest innovations for the home. Visitors will be able to meet and talk to industry experts, secure substantial special HomeXPO prices and make bookings for products and services before winter sets in.

Along with hundreds of fantastic deals and the latest home products and advanced technologies up for grabs, visitors can also enter the draw to win a $75,000 home prize package to be drawn on 31st May. The draw incudes a Mazda2 1.5L Classic Auto valued at $24,645, $10,000 worth of kitchen or laundry appliances from Fisher & Paykel, $10,000 of carpet including underlay and installation from Cavalier Bremworth, $7,500 solar water heater Solar Group, Absolute Fujitsu heat pump, tapware, timber flooring, shower domes, and curtains, paint and wallpaper from Resene.

Not to be missed is the Toi Toi Café and Wine Bar, created specifically for the HomeXPO by Kiwi-born international chef to the stars, Cheryl Beere.

Her pursuits for flavour and inspiration have taken her all over the world, from vegan to international cuisines, and from small kitchens to grand stadiums. Cheryl has run restaurants including the Google campus Organic Cafe, taught extensively, and has been personal chef to famous musicians including The Beastie Boys, Tori Amos, Beck, Dave Grohl, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.

Thousands of visitors are expected to take advantage of a unique autumn extravaganza of product and services at direct to the consumer prices.

With free parking and just a $5 entry fee (children under five free) the Waikato Show promises a great day out with a Music Expo, Wellbeing Waikato Show, Environment Expo, Cultural Village, animals, Leisure Lifestyle Show, and family stage entertainment.

Dates: Friday 26th, Saturday 27th Sunday 28th April - 10:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m. daily.

Amusements and entertainment stage open until 10pm.on Saturday.

Venue: Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton.

Main Entrance: Corner of Brooklyn Road and Heaphy Terrace, Claudelands.

Free parking through Gate 4 (Brooklyn Road) and Gate 5 (Heaphy Terrace). Passenger carriage will be available to transport guests between their vehicle and the show entrance.
