Free seminar for migrants on New
Zealand residency options
ROTORUA 05.07.13: Rotorua District Council’s (RDC) Settlement Support unit and Immigration New Zealand are hosting a free seminar to provide migrants with information on living and working permanently in New Zealand.
The ‘Pathways to NZ Residency’ seminar is on Friday 12 July from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the council Civic Centre on Haupapa Street.
RDC Settlement Support coordinator Heather McAllister said the seminar is ideal for students on job search visas, migrants on work visas, people on working holidays, and those who would like family members to join them in New Zealand.
“This is a rare opportunity for local migrants to get information straight from the mouths of the people who process the immigration forms.
“Immigration NZ staff will give a brief presentation, followed by a Q&A session, which will be really helpful for people who are thinking of living in New Zealand permanently.”
Anyone interested in attending the free seminar should register with Ms McAllister on 07 351 7054 or email ssnzrotorua@rdc.govt.nz. Bookings are essential.
