Wellington Local Alcohol Policy - submissions flood in

With the Wellington Local Alcohol Policy written submissions closing on Friday, it looks like the Wellington Hospitality industry will be submitting about 4,000 submissions from businesses staff and customers.

We plan on handing over the last of these submissions to Council at 3pm on Friday.

We believe that WCC is trying to use a sledge hammer to crack a nut and major changes are needed to get the draft LAP right. As a sector, we will not sit back and allow bureaucrats, who have never run a business to severely damage our sector which we have spent years building.
