Call to Wellingtonians to Condemn Ongoing Egyptian Massacre
Wellingtonians wanting to express their horror and outrage at the massacre in Egypt can come to the Egyptian Embassy at 5-7 Willeston Street, Wellington today at noon, and sign a demand to the Egyptian authorities to cease live fire on protestors.
With the official death toll now at over 500, and further protests expected after Friday’s noon prayers, the Egyptian authorities need to be told loud and clear that peaceful protest is legitimate, and the killing of protestors must stop.
