Impact of 16 August earthquakes

Chorus is currently evaluating the impact to its network infrastructure from this afternoon’s earthquakes, but there are no early indications of widespread damage.

Chorus has evacuated all its Wellington-based buildings, pending structural assessments. Chorus staff in the region have been sent home.
