21 August 2013
SH1 South to SH16 Eastbound Link Closed
Tonight
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that
the Southern Motorway link for drivers travelling south,
wanting to exit to SH16 East, heading to the Port, will be
closed tonight (Tuesday 21st August) for emergency bridge
drainage work.
The link closure will be in place tonight
between 11pm and 5am, and drivers are asked to follow
the signposted detour in place via St Lukes to SH16
Eastbound during this time.
The NZTA says drivers should
use the link with care until repairs are completed.
The
NZ Transport Agency works to create transport solutions for
all New Zealanders – from helping new drivers earn their
licences, to leading safety campaigns to investing in public
transport, state highways and local roads. Follow us on
