Press Release: Workstar Nelson.
Supported Employment Agency Workstar has benefited from the benevolence of the BNZ’s Closed for Good Day.
Three staff from the BNZ spent the day at Workstar’s offices at 70 Waimea Road Nelson to make it easier to access the building. A variety of jobs were accomplished on the day including Water blasting mobility ramps, clearing pathways and ensuring pathways are easy to see.
The Business Accessibility Checklist created by the Accessibility For All Forum A4A with support from both the Nelson City and Tasman District Councils was used to plan the days efforts.
Kirsty Glen Manager of Workstar states that the improved access is good for business.
“By using the business accessibility checklist our business will grow as more people will be able to use our free service to find and maintain employment.”
