Greg Moyle Press Release October 2 2013

Auckland Councillor Candidate Greg Moyle Says Grow Fruit On the Berms.

The "who mows the berms" argument rages on in Auckland with strong opinions on both sides.

In the meantime Greg Moyle who is standing as an Independent Councillor for Waitemata and the Gulf Islands believes there is one good way to solve the problem and also create a food source for everyone to enjoy.

Plant fruit trees.

He is practicing what he preaches on the berm outside his house in Herne Bay and has for sometime. He recently planted a mandarin and lime tree and is now planting a lemon tree.

In cities and towns in countries all over the world fruit trees enhance the streets.

Attached is a  pix from the town of Alta Vista in Argentina with streets lined with orange trees.

"Why not use the berms for a good purpose and so everyone benefits," says Greg Moyle
