Unique Bully-Proof Program Launches at Local School
The theme driven Bully-Proof program MISSION BULLY PROOF is now being offered to our community and the kids are loving it!
By the amazing response to the launch of this program it is clear a lot of parents are wondering if their child will be a target of bullying any time soon. The presenter of this program is no stranger to keeping children safe. Sean Fitzpatrick is also the Head Instructor at Family Martial Arts Academy, a leading local martial arts and life skills institute.
“I began teaching children life skills and personal safety over twenty years ago. Like other top professionals in my field I know the best way for kids to learn and retain valuable knowledge is to create themes they are excited and challenged by. So we have a ‘Mission Impossible’ type theme teaching kids about bullying behaviours, conflict resolution, anger management and emotional intelligence. Imagine that. It’s really cool how the kids get engaged in what we are talking about.”
This Saturday a presentation is being done as a fundraiser for Haitaitai School and on Sunday another is being done for the local SPELD group. Mr Fitzpatrick is offering these workshops for free as a positive service to the Wellington community and other community groups are invited to inquire regarding future presentations.
The
Haitaitai School workshop is at 4pm Saturday 19th October at
the Haitaitai School
Hall.
