Raetihi water now all-clear for showers and laundry.
The Medical Officer of Health has given the all-clear to Raetihi residents to use the reticulated water for showers and laundry.
The all-clear for drinking water and cooking has still not been given.
It is anticipated that the all-clear for using reticulated water for drinking purposes will be on Monday 21 October 2013 when the test results for the water samples taken yesterday are expected to be completed.
Residents are advised that they should complete the flushing of their plumbing as per Ruapehu District Council instructions before using the water for showers and laundry.
