HUTT CITY COUNCIL NEWS RELEASE
31 OCTOBER 2013
Public advised to move cars from Riverbank Carpark now
Heavy rain overnight has caused a number of tributaries of the Hutt River to reach alarm levels.
With further rainfall expected during the day it is anticipated that Block Road and the Riverbank Carpark will be closed in the very near future.
At this stage we are unable to give a more detailed prediction of when this is likely to occur so we are advising the public to move their cars from the Riverbank Carpark now.
